The 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer is a practical and efficient sub-compact SUV that is aimed at drivers who have an active lifestyle due to its many connectivity technologies and its dynamic appearance.

Four different trim levels

The 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer is available in four different trim levels in order to offer something for everyone. Buyers who want to save on their car budgets will find the entry-level LS to be well-equipped despite its lower price tag, with standard features such as a 7-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, lane keeping assist and forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection. Stepping up to the LT adds the smart key access and start system, the cruise control and black 17-inch alloy wheels. Drivers who like adventure will be drawn toward the Activ trim level, which makes the all-wheel drive system standard, tunes the suspension to better cope with light off-roading and adds elements such as the leather-wrapped steering and shift knob. At the top of the line, the RS model is made for drivers who want a sporty-looking small SUV. This is due to its 18-inch alloy wheels, its twin-tip exhaust and its black Chevrolet badges, among many other changes.

Two powertrains

The 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer can be powered by two turbocharged 3-cylinder engines that deliver more power than expected while also being very fuel efficient. A standard engine is a 1,2L unit making 137 horsepower that is paired with a continuously variable transmission driving the front wheels. Optional on the LT grade, a more powerful 1,3L engine can be substituted in order to benefit from 155 horsepower. This second engine is the only one available with the all-wheel drive system, which uses a 9-speed automatic transmission in place of the CVT.

A practical side

Despite its diminutive exterior dimensions, the 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer is a practical small SUV that has enough interior space to keep passengers comfortable and cargo properly stowed behind the seats. Speaking of cargo, the Trailblazer benefits from 716 litres of space behind the rear seats and up to 1540 litres behind the front seats. In addition, the front passenger seat can fold flat in order to make it possible to load items that are up to 8,5 feet long while still being able to close the hatch.
